# About Disk Drives

There are many types of disk drives available. Commodore introduced a 3 1/2 inch drive with their Amiga computer. Now IBM has a new 3 inch drive. We Safe Disk users have a system that will work with almost anything that can be hooked up to a Shugart Standard Parallel I/O Disk Drive.
