# Add an ON/OFF Switch to Your QL

I’ll never understand what it is that Sir Clive has against the simple and convenient on/off switch. Neither the ZX81, the Spectrum, nor the QL were provided with them. Having to always be plugging and unplugging the power supply is not only bothersome, it quickly wears out the plug components!
