# Editor’s Doings

First, I want to apologize for the late issue. I do have several legitimate ‘excuses’, but the predominant one being an urgent desire to ‘take a short breather’ after getting an already late issue out. In an attempt to get caught up, Alex and I are already putting the November issue together and hope to get it out a little earlier in the month! Bear with us.

Next, a brief update on the new Timex TS-1500. My ace technician at work was itching to get into computers and found an ad for the 1500. He found out that they really did exist, so we ordered two and I now have a brand new 1500. Why would someone need both a 1000 and a 1500? Well, I got tired of carrying mine back and forth every day. My students stay busy working (and playing) with it at work, hooking gadgets to it, etc. So now I have one to keep at home for my own use!
