# Eyeing the QL

This part of the article is written to be non-technical and in fact somewhat historical in nature. I would like to thank Lee Terry, of Comsat Labs, for his help in identifying the true problem discussed herein. He was on a team that wrote the book that was published as the Motorola MECL Handbook. (ECL, Emitter Coupled Logic is what they build Cray computers with.)
