# From the Editor

### Do you get the feeling that we are into Pascal?

I do, and I think it is appropriate that we are. For the last few years (in fact since the QL came on the scene), our group has been hardware oriented. For good reason because the machine was just plain unreliable. Almost all of us have had a QL go sour, sort of like a “computer rites of passage.”
