With the best of altruistic motives I offered to transport three members of Quanta in my car to the Eindhoven meeting on the 4th March but my car had other ideas. A couple of days before the meeting it’s radiator decided to commit Hari Kari and I found myself looking for a lift to the meeting. Luckily Tony Firshman of TF services had a spare seat in his car so I did a swift bodge job on my radiator (enough to get it from my home in Brighton to the London Orbital Motorway services) and, at 11pm on Friday evening I transferred my QL, monitor and bag of assorted leads into the back of Tony’s Volvo and we set off for Holland.
