# Going Online with Your QL

I’ve been asked to explain how to use your QL to call a bulletin board system (BBS). 1 had problems trying to follow a structured approach to explaining everything necessary to use your QL online. So, I decided to just ramble in a couple directions, explaining as I go. Hopefully you’ll get the information you need to use your QL successfully with a modem.
