# Phil & the TSZX Computer Demonstrate Algorithmic Approaches to Artificial Intelligence & Image Understanding

In our joint meeting with the TI group in January we heard a presentation by [Phil Kegelmeyer](http://localhost/indiv/phil-kegelmeyer/), son of [Bill K](http://localhost/indiv/bill-kegelmeyer/), and watched in fascination as a simple program demonstrated ways that a computer can detect edges, vertical edges and corners. We’ll present a report on this program in our March issue. And we’ll also present the program so that you can play around with it.
