The normal QL runs at 7.5 MHz. All that was necessary to do was install a 16 MHz crystal in location X1. Speeding up the TS1000 and 2068 can be done in a similar manner, but those machines have a problem with the display when they are altered. The 1000 can run at 4 MHz if you have the Video Upgrade for it. You would need to install an 8 MHz crystal. The 2068 can’t be modified as there is no way to produce a display (unless you use a remote terminal with the Aerco RCPM).
