I was dismayed to find that my Q-SAVE would not work with the 1500. A letter to the importer brought the answer that the two were just incompatible. I recently found by accident that the program works fine, just don’t use the filter/amplifier unit. I did find that I had to use the cables that came with the Timex (longer cables seem to lose too much voltage) and use full volume on the recorder.
