# An Author’s Response

The recent review of QINDEX (Vol. 3 Issue 6) contains some errors, possibly due to not understanding the manual properly – and for the record, I would like to make a few corrective and/or explanatory comments:-

Firstly, the two programs supplied are not, as Gary states, for those with or without the pointer environment already running, but are for those users who do or do not have the QLiberator runtimes available.
