# Some Notes on the QL “Fixes”

We have all gotten QL computers at salvage prices, entirely due to the rush into production 5 years ago. The majority of users seem to be able to adapt to the “system lockup” syndrome, but it has alienated thousands. As far as I know, we at the CATS user group are blessed with the only QL expert this side of the Atlantic, Tom Bent.
