Impellizzeri “Improving The QL’s Sound”. It would be wise to insure that the amplifier and external speaker device be powered from a line transformer type of power supply. Some small and inexpensive amplifiers are line powered rather than transformer powered. If these were to be used it might be disastrous if the line plug were reversed, accidentally.
