He is organizing a venture capitalist effort to acquire the licensing rights from TIMEX COMPUTER CORP. This endeavor combines some 47 companies into a publicly held subsidiary of Trinity Magnum of San Diego, CA. There are plans to open a nation wide chain of computer stores named “THE LITTLE COMPUTER STORE” which will carry all books, publications, 5 to 6 thousand pieces of software, and add-on devices. There will be the opportunity for individual investors and user groups to obtain stock in Trinity Magnum and limited partnership in The Little Computer Store. Higgenbottom said the details should be made firm by the end of May 1984. He also said he would send me the 3-14-84 press release he read to me over the phone. So far, I have not received it nor have I been able to find a copy of it through my computer editor contact at the San Jose Mercury/News. I have also not been able to confirm this business deal with any of my sources.
