# Tom Bent’s Improved ROM

In early 1985, [Tom Bent](http://localhost/indiv/tom-bent/) released an EPROM with an upgraded version of the ZX81/T/S 1000 ROM. It was released as the “Sinclair ZX 8K ROM Upgrade”. The package contained an EPROM and an adapter board to fit the ROM into the socket of the old ROM.
