Apologies to Bob Swoger and Don Lambert for pinching the name of their magazine, but it fits the bill.

The July 1992, Popular Science, reports on Sir Clive Sinclair’s latest gadget, the electric Zike Bike, a 24 pound, Ni-cad battery powered bicycle with a top speed of 15 mph. Cruising range is an hour, more using the pedals. Recharge time is also an hour. Price about $870.00.
