I’ve revised my [RGB->SVIDEO design to be standalone](https://easyeda.com/factus10/ts2068-rgb-to-svideo_copy_copy)
. It uses a through-hole connector with all parts on the “back” of the PCB so it can plug directly into the 2068.

No improvement to video quality, though I plan to build up a circuit that uses the [Pound HD Link Cable for Sega Saturn](https://www.amazon.com/Pound-HDMI-Link-Cable-Sega-Saturn/dp/B07Z813JCB)
 to see if that’s any improvement. It needs [R, G, B and composite](https://allpinouts.org/pinouts/connectors/videogame/sega-saturn-a-v/)
