The article walks through the full setup: relocating the PROG system variable, the seven POKEs to 32768–32775 that configure BASIC and machine code placement, using address 26688 for machine code storage, and toggling between DOCK and HOME memory with POKEs to 23750. The practical payoff for Holmgren was running his BBS program out of the DOCK port while keeping the full 38K HOME bank free for variables and message storage.
