# 1988 Midwest Regional Timex-Sinclair Conference

August 28 and 29, 1988, held in Cleveland, Ohio. The [Greater Cleveland Sinclair Users Group](http://localhost/usergroup/greater-cleveland-sinclair-users-group/), headed by [Andy Kosiorek](http://localhost/indiv/andy-kosiorek/), hosted the event.

Along with the Cleveland group, the [Capital Area T/S Users Group](http://localhost/usergroup/capital-area-timex-sinclair-users-group/), [Indiana Sinclair Users Group](http://localhost/usergroup/indiana-sinclair-timex-users-group/), SAF (Michigan) Users Group and Southwest Pennsylvania Users Group had displays.

Seminar presenters included [Tom Bent](http://localhost/indiv/tom-bent/), Nigel Searle, [Bruce Taylor](http://localhost/indiv/bruce-taylor/), [James DuPuy](http://localhost/indiv/james-dupuy/), Frank Davis, [Gary Ganger](http://localhost/indiv/gary-ganger/), [Basil Wentworth](http://localhost/indiv/john-basil-wentworth/), [David Hoshor](http://localhost/indiv/david-hoshor/), Ron Lutz, [Bill Bell](http://localhost/indiv/bill-bell/) and [Ken Wildman](http://localhost/indiv/ken-wildman/).

Nigel Searle’s presentation was “Sinclair History: ZX80 to Z88.” It traced the evolution of the ZX80 and ZX81 computers.
