# Timex Sinclair News

Announced in Spring 1984 by the same group that produced [Timex Sinclair Shopper](http://localhost/periodical/timex-sinclair-shopper/), Timex Sinclair News was intended to keep owners up to date on events in the US and abroad. It’s not clear if any issues were published.

In their [July 1984 issue](http://localhost/issue/syntax-syntax-zx80-v5-n7/), Syntax announced it had [purchased Timex Sinclair News](http://localhost/article/syntax-buys-timex-sinclair-news/) and added the name to its masthead.
