# Spectrum Emulator

This emulator consisted of a 32K EPROM that replaced the 16K ROM. The EPROM contained the 2068 operating system in the lower half, and Spectrum operating system in the upper half. Errors in both operating systems were corrected. Error correction is detailed in documentation.

The lower or upper half of the 32K EPROM is selected by means of a small switch on the back of the 2068.

The emulator was compatible with all disk systems except AERCO, which requires software emulation instead. ZEBRA disk systems required an additional dual EPROM installed in the ZEBRA disk interface.
