# Sinclair/Timex User Group of the Boston Computer Society

The Sinclair/Timex User Group was a subgroup of the Boston Computer Society.

President: John Kemeny  
Vice-President: Peter Hale  
Director: Sue Mahoney  
Librarian: Jim Rodlin

Founded in 1981. Sue Mahoney eventually left to work for [Timex Computer Corporation](http://localhost/company/timex-computer-corporation/).

Members of the group founded [E-Z Key](http://localhost/company/e-z-key/), [King Software](http://localhost/company/king-software/) and [Siriusware](http://localhost/company/sirius-software-siriusware/).

In 1983, the group hosted a celebration of the second anniversary of its founding. In the article “[Why A Computer Show?,](http://localhost/article/why-a-computer-show/)” Mahoney talked about the importance of the event and listed some of the speakers and presentations.
