# Timex Computer Club

As part of its marketing efforts, Timex established a national user group called the “Timex Computer Club.”

Purchasers of the TS-1000 who returned the warranty card were automatically enrolled. Members received [Ramblings](http://localhost/tag/ramblings/), new product information, and a plastic card good for promotional discounts.
