I am writing a assembly language routine that needs to send data back to a BASIC program and to get data from a BASIC program. Getting data from the routine is fairly simple if it a single value. Getting data to the routine is more complex as the USR call does not allow for arguments. This article explores two ways to get data back and forth from assembly to BASIC.
