Sue Currier came from Australia to the United States to pursue a career in modeling. She was discovered by the Eileen Ford Agency in Melbourne. She flew to New York City to sign with them and worked with them from 1971 to 1974. In 1974, Sue married Ken Currier on the 86th floor Observation deck on the Empire State Building, reportedly the first marriage ceremony on the observation deck. Sue moved to Wilhemina Models and continued modeling.
