Robert was one half of Loomis-Shade Photography, which was established 1964.
Robert used his Timex/Sinclair 2068 to run the business in the 1980s and 1990s, including payroll. In a letter to Frank Davis, he described how he produced the 1994 price catalog for his company on the TS2068 using Wordmaseter/Typemaster. Graphics were developed in Art Studio. He digitized the Professional Photographers Society of America with the SMUG video board.
