Victor Schiff

Victor was appointed manager, computer systems architecture, in May 1983.

Victor was “responsible for maintaining effective technical liaison with Sinclair Research. He [was] also responsible for determining optimum overall hardware architectures, including mainframes and peripherals, for all Timex computer products.”

He was asked to focus specifically on future Timex products and in working with Timex Computer Corporation Product Planning to identify and prove feasibility of advanced product concepts.

After the dissolution of Timex Computer Corporation, Victor stayed at Timex for a number of years as a staff scientist, then later working at Microsoft as a hardware design engineer.
