We were joined by Steve North, a comedian and comic coach who, in the early 1980s, wrote four games for the Timex/Sinclair 1000. They were a football simulation, a simulation of landing a jet at Denver International Airport during a storm, a boblsed game and a mining game where you must find the treasures.
All of Steve’s games are available here:

Jeff Burrell gave a demo and update on the TS Pico hardware. Progress is happening and it may even be released on schedule, in November. More about the TS Pico here:
Willie Jones talked a bit about his clone of John Oliger’s disk system and efforts to update it, perhaps to make it work with a floppy disk emulator. Willie plans to make these board available soon.
Ryan Gray returned to his work on his font editor, which in turn required revisting his work on zmakebas. You can learn about Ryan’s programs here:

And Zmakebas, a program that’ll compile a text file to a P or TAP file, here:

Ryan then started a very interesting conversation about a community-based project to potentially develop a newer/enhanced 2068 compatible computer. We’ll follow up on this idea at our next meeting in mid-September.
