This program will allow you to create 3×3 graphics fairly easily. The working space is on the left side of the screen. On the right side you can see the character (3×3) you defined or are defining. To create a character move with the arrow keys, 1 to fill a dot, and 0 to clear a dot.

To access the Main menu press [EDIT] (shift & 1). In the main menu press the first letter of the option.

COMP, EDIT, SCRLL, TURN, FILE, DELETE and INVERSE.

  • COMP/compile character: Will compile the working character in one of the 20 characters you can define. To choose a character use the arrow keys.
  • EDIT/edit character: Will allow you to edit one of the 20 characters.
  • SCRLL/scroll character one pixel: Will allow you to scroll the working character one pixel, right, left, up, or down.
  • TURN/turn character 90 degree: Will turn the working character 90 degree.
  • FILE/save-load characters: Will allow you to save all 20 characters.
  • DELETE to clear the file or, the working character.
  • INVERSE will inverse (horizontal flip, or mirror)

NOTE ON THE CHARACTERS

The characters may be loaded anywhere in the memory, each character is 72 bytes. To use any of the characters just poke 23675 & 23676 to the address of the 1st byte of the character.
