One of the attractions of microcomputers is that anything seems possible. From the blue-sky, frivilous ideas such as my plan to counterattack the computer-sales calls by taping a battery powered TS1000 and MODEM to a telephone pole, programmed to call THEM continuously, to the blue boxes that used public information to open the doors of the international phone system, to the common hacker that wrote CPM so he could get reliable information flow in his machine, the computer has acted as a magic wand to make dreams real. What more likely target for computer backing that a City that is devoted to dreams?
