You have no doubt seen some computer generated landscapes or other objects. If you saw any of the Star Trek movies, you did see a computer representation of an object on the screen amde up of repetetive squares, triangles, circles or curving lines. Unless the geometric objects making up the surfaces are filled in or shaded, you con “see through” the grid like surfaces. These are many times referred to as fractal representations.
