No! This game is not at all a ‘PAC-MAN’ style of game!
This game is divided into 4 parts:
First, you are in a maze (city). Stop the ghosts, don’t let them join forces at Zalloo (center of the screen). Then go to a RED or FLASHING building and stop the SLIMER from making messes.
If any 2 ghosts cross at Zalloo, the MARSHMALLOW MAN then destroys a building and you have to pay the bill!
NOTE: You cannot go to Zalloo or in the center of the screen (RED SQUARE).
In the second part, you drive your car to a building (the same one you chose in the first part!!!). The ghosts you stopped will now appear at the top of the screen (one by one) and go passed you. To get them in the VACCUM press Fire Button or SPACEBAR when the ghost is over your car, you should hear a ‘Vaccum noise if you get it. When you arrive to the building the car will go to the right and stop.
The third part is when you arrive to the building.
A flashing building means that there is a SLIMER there for sure and a RED building means that maybe a SLIMER is around. A BLUE building means that everything is fine.
In this part of the game, you have to place your 2 men so as to get the SLIMER between the rays and get it in the trap.
Move your first man to around the center of the screen, press Spacebar or Fire Button to drop the trap then put your man a little passed the building and press Fire (Spacebar). He will automatically turn around, you cannot move him anymore so be careful where you place him.
Your second man will then appear, place him and when the slimer is over the trap (it has to be low too!) press Fire (Spacebar) and the rays will appear. When the SLIMER is BETWEEN the rays and over the trap release the trap (Fire or Spacebar) to get the SLIMER in it.
If you miss the SILMER, you will get slimed and will HAVE TO GO TO HEADQUARTERS. If you cross the beams (rays) your equipment will blow up and automatically shut off, you will also get slimed and HAVE TO GO TO HEADQUARTERS.
If you wait too long the SLIMER will go away, watch out for that too!
You only have 5 traps (5 SLIMERS) so when they are full you will be warned, it’s the same for the Vaccum, it can hold up to 20 ghosts. If you receive a ‘Warning’ you HAVE TO GO TO HEADQUARTERS.
If the building you chose is the HEADQUARTERS then 2 men will come out of the building (with new equipment) and you will also collect your money for the SLIMERS and the ghosts.
NOTE: you only get your money when you go to HEADQUARTERS. You can go there as often as you like. (it’s best to go often so you won’t lose any money at then end of the game, explained later on…)
The fourth part is the end of the game.
At the bottom of the screen (during the game), you will see 2 things, your money and ZALLOO’s energy. When Zalloo’s energy is full, whatever you were doing, you will be drawn to Zalloo to stop the MARSHMALLOW MAN. If you hadn’t collected your money then, you lost it!
In this part, you must get to the other end of the screen. Easy you might say, but there is the MARSHMALLOW MAN throwing marshmallow pieces down at you. Cross that and you’re home free…
