QD – What is it? In simple terms it is a pointer driven ASCII text file editor. It does not profess to be, nor has it ever claimed to be, a word processor in any way shape or form. So what is there about the program that makes it different from all the other text editors – besides the fact that it is the only one that has been specifically designed for the extended environment.
