First, I was a little disappointed by this program, it was a little confusing the way it worked. Still can’t get some of the functions. Anyways this program offers a PLANNER, a PHONE BOOK, a CALCULATOR, a DECISION MAKER, a BIORYTHM and a CLOCK.
The thing with the program is the editor, especially the delete key. It deletes what is on the cursor alright but scrolls the text to the left and the cursor stays in place so to correct a mistake it may be confusing.
The PLANNER, I didn’t like the way that one worked, nor did I like the PHONE BOOK or the CALCULATOR (they all use the same editor). In the PLANNER you first enter the date, which is weird the way you enter it, then you have a 17 character description. You work on a screen of about 22 lines (I think) and when it’s full you have to store it in a FILER (or whatever!). One bright thing I liked about the PLANNER was that you can’t put two appointments at the same time, it checks to make sure and anyways how can you be at two places at the same time???
The PHONE BOOK is even more bizarre, you enter the name and the phone number, you have 3 lines (I think!) to do that. In the menu of PHONE BOOK there is a search name which is the part I didn’t like, you can enter just a letter, the whole name or even the phone number but if two people have the same last name it only shows the first one!?!
The CALCULATOR, I don’t see what the use of this function is, it’s complicated for nothing. ADVICE: take your own pocket calculator it is a heck of a lot faster.
The DECISION MAKER, I liked that one very much, you enter topics and then enter their importance by comparing them.
BIORYTHM, works pretty good!
The TIME ZONES, CLOCK and STOP WATCH are very nice especially the TIME ZONES screen you can see what time it is in any country, the STOP WATCH, that too I don’t see the use for it but it might come in handy. The CLOCK is like any other clock it is displayed in the middle of the screen on the top (very nice item).
The program comes with a nice booklet, well written and quite clear.
Overall I was disappointed by this program, it could have been easier to work with.
