Here is a program that generates nice spiral on the screen. To get a good symetrical screen dump use the Stan Lemke’s PRINTER program in the Jan. 1989 issue of UP DATE magazine (our library has a copy if you don’t subscribe). It won’t be exactly symmetrical because the formulas do not produce an exactly symmetrical shape but it is close. The COPY command will give a squashed image. By adjusting the formulas it may be possible to reduce the width by the amount the printed image is off.
