In the media “That’s 30,” says that the task at hand is finished. And so it is 30 for me as Editor of the newsletter. It has been very interesting for me and I’ve learned a lot in the preparation of the last 32 issues. I do however think that the membership deserves an explanation for my departure. Tim Swenson wanted to publish the two letters I wrote to Ruth concerning my decision to step down, but I asked him to let me write it as an article instead. You know me, always ready to step up on the soap box. I shall, however, try to make it shorter than usual.
