We will have the Timex modem on hand far a hands on demonstration, continue with the software sharing that went on last meeting, and we will come up with a group project that can be done in a one to two month time period. We will also have an auction of donated materials: Step, Rampager, and Fred Blechman’s book. We will have the system that Bill McCotter has donated to our users’ group up and running. This system includes a CAI/0 interface, Exatron Stringy Floppy, magazines, books, software, a keyboard that is suitable for the TSZX computer and a keyboard/zx81i combination along with the 16K rampack. This system will be auctioned off piece by Piece or the whole system may be bought as is. I think the group needs to decide the disposition of this very fine gift from Bill McCotter. Bill owns and operates McCotter’s Marina, Inc. in Washington, NC. Bill says that he learned a great deal on this system (which was used to inventory boats and all their accessories and equipment–Bill sells Chris Craft boats) but that a KAYPRO has taken the place of the trusted TSZX.
