QLRun is a browser emulator for the Sinclair QL. It runs the bundled JS or US JSU system ROM, or Minerva 1.98a1, and paints the ZX8301 display. It talks to the ZX8302 for the keyboard, beeper and Microdrives, and it emulates both the AY-3-8910 QSound card and the YM2203-based QSound2. Writable hard-disk (.win) and floppy (.img) images mount as WIN1_ and FLP1_. The host mouse can act as a QIMSI PS/2 mouse or as the Pointer Environment pointer, gamepads act as the QL joysticks, and SER1 and SER2 connect to real serial ports through Web Serial.
The page itself is laid out as a QL Pointer Environment desktop, with Media, ROMs, Hardware and Display tabs. It offers 128K to 896K of RAM, PAL or NTSC timing, a CRT filter, an on-screen keyboard, a Toolkit II v2.36 cartridge ROM and three extension-ROM slots, and settings can be given in the URL. A .mdv image, or a ZIP holding one, can be loaded into MDV1 from a URL at startup. Two example Microdrives play music converted from VGM rips.
QLRun is by Josef Jelinek. It is plain JavaScript with no build step or libraries. The emulator sources are under the MIT licence, and the bundled ROMs keep their own licences, as listed in the README.
