The New Haven Sinclair Study Group was a unique user group in that the member’s ages range from 8 to 14 years old. Initially, members built their own Sinclair ZX81 and wrote programs for the computer. Later members received assembled a ZX81 or TS 1000 computer to learn how to use and program.
Chris Baldwin, the adult leader, founded the group in 1982. Chris was a teacher in one of the alternative schools in Hew Haven.
The group was featured in an article in Timex Sinclair User, The Great Connecticut Kit-Building Experiment.
Published a monthly newsletter for children.
