Tad Painter has done the “unheard” of by digitizing the human voice for T/S computers. His SPEECH SYNTHESIZER program does the job without the need for expensive additional hardware. It’s all software generated.
SPEECH SYNTHESIZER is available for the TS 1000/1500 and the 2068 computers. Each version includes a demonstration program that displays the capabilities of the software. The “voice” plays through the speaker of the 2068, and through the MIC jack of all three computers.
The vocabulary of the 2068 version contains 274 words in four libraries. Words from different libraries can be compiled together, and there is a program included that will enable you to use speech in your own programs.
Tad has the hardware available for 2068 owners to create their own vocabularies ($39.95). He also has three talking programs for your enjoyment.
SPEECH SYNTHESIZER is a well done, quality program. I recommend it highly.
