VERIFY confirms whether a program has been recorded properly on tape. The program in memory is unaffected, and a further “save” can be made if necessary. MLOAD/MSAVE enables a specified block of memory to be saved. VPTR can be used within a BASIC program to eliminate many tedious POKES and PEEKS in finding the addresses where variable values are stored. CHAIN allows the second part of a BASIC program to be loaded and tacked onto the end of the first part.
