Archive is, arguably, the most powerful of the Psion programs. It is an extremely flexible data base system. One feature lacking is a reasonable directory system. With 720 k disk space, one can have a lot of data bases and programs on one floppy–and not all Archive files. The directory command in Archive lists all files to the screen. This can get pretty confusing and cumbersome when you want to find a single data base or program whose name you can’t quite remember exactly. it would be nice to have a directory of just the “-dbf” files or just the “- pro” files. There is a relatively easy way to add this feature to Archive using the extended directory features included in Toolkit Il and most of the floppy disk interfaces.
