Datacon produced software for mainframe computers, producing programs that integrate with and update each other within the databases of corporations and government installations.
Their integrated software for the TS1000 could save data to tape, without the program, allowing for data exchange across programs. For example, the Mega-Plot program can read data from the Mega-Calc data tape and produce graphic illustrations of your spreadsheet data. The Mega-Earn program can read Mega-Bill data tape and post the accounts receivable information
Programs in the Mega-Master and Mega-Wealth groups could read/write files across the series. The Mega Home group consisted of 3 non-integrating programs.
