Instructions for modifying a CAI Stringy Floppy drive to work with the A&J (4K ROM) interface: one trace must be cut from connector CN pin 7, and a jumper added from CN pin 7 to IC7 pin 26 to supply 5V power from the A&J drive unit. If one A&J drive already powers the interface, the CAI drive can serve as a second drive by changing the drive selection jumper. Accompanied by an announcement for an ESFOA (Exatron Stringy Floppy Owners Association) Sinclair SIG for owners of CAL-Z or Exatron Stringy Floppies on TS1000/1500.
