Elsewhere you will read that I, Ruth Fegley, was elected to serve the unexpired term of the Presidency of CATS. When drafted by the Executive board just prior to February’s General Meeting I had not yet received my Newsletter. Had I read Hank’s poignant description of the type of person he believed is needed to rescue CATS, and realized that almost every single member had been contacted and spurned the leadership role, I might not have succumbed to Ted’s nomination!
