In addition, we will keep you informed on the latest news pertaining to Sinclair Research and the QL. We will have interviews with programmers and software companies.
Nigel Searle is no longer with Sinclair Research. The former managing director of the company left last month to work for an undisclosed IBM software company. Mr. Searle was heading Sinclair during some of its “darkest” months financially. Sinclair now has a new management team and Ql sales are flourishing, due primarily to the price cut on the machine both here and in the U.K. • In the U.S., their decision to support independent dealers we feel is definitely a step in the right direction toward making the QL a success over here. Last week the Wall Street Journal reported Atari was planning to put the ST in mass merchant stores such as K-Mart, an idea which is already alienating existing Atari dealers.
