Fall is here and with it comes a lot of new software £ and some hardware) for the QL. As we mentioned in the August issue, PC TALKER is now available for immediate shipment. This is probably the most interesting and exciting new piece of hardware to come along for the QL in quite awhile.
The TALKER plugs inta serial two and is equipped with its own power supply. By opening a channel to serial 2 and then “printing” to that channel, TALKER will say anything you type. The.speech quality is. quite good and most words are easily understood. Some have to obviously be spelled phaenetically.
