This program lets you enter your expenditures for every months and also the estimated spendings (budget).
It will tell you at the end of the year if you are over or under budget or even!
The functions:
1- Enter Data When you press 1, a list of 60 items will be displayed. Enter the number of the desired item. If this ‘item’ contains no name the computer will then ask you to give it one (12 characters long maximum.) Then the DATA will be displayed. The computer will then ask you to enter the estimated spending of each month for this item. If you do not wish to enter all the estimated spendings then enter -1.
If the item already has a name then the computer will ask for either Correct, Add or Menu. Enter the first letter of the option.
Correct…This is to correct the estimated spendings or the expenditures of a month. Follow the prompts carefully!
Add…This is used when you want to add a certain amount for a month. Follow Prompts carefully!

2- Change Name of an Item When you press 2 the list of Items will be displayed then choose the ‘item’ desired and input the new name.
3- Total to date for all items This option will give you all the Data + the total to date and the average for every item.
NOTE WHEN ENTERING THE DATA (OPTION 1), You are also given the total to date and the average of the item.
4- Overall total and average This option should be chosen only when the budget year is over or else it won’t be accurate!
This option will give you the total of all the items and the average (per item) of every months and also the Grand total and Average for the year of budget.
This option also tells you if you are over budget, under budget or even.
5- Graph This option allows you to graph the expenditures for every month for any item. You have the choice between seeing only one item or all the items and also between a line graph or a bar graph.
6-Save/ Load file This option lets you save or load the entire file for use in the future.
7- Printout data Same as option 3 but everything is copied on the TS2040 printer. The COPY command is in BASIC so that you may be able to modify it.
8- Quit Program This option resets the computer to BASIC (NEW!)
