There have been some tremendous strides for the Timex/Sinclair/Amstrad family of computers. It is difficult to believe that these computers have been gone from the market (1000/1500/2068) for over four years now. It seems as if you can’t keep a good thing down. There have been improvements added in the past few years, not to mention the past year. I have seen the 1000/1500 with increased capabilities that rival those in the 2068. I have seen capabilities in the QL that can compare with the MAC and others. When Alan Sugar bought out Sinclair, you now have IBM capabilities. All of this from the original ZX81 to the present. Unbelievable.
