TASWORD THREE! Many Spectrum and 2068 owners have been quite happy with the Tasword II word processing program from Tasman software in England. Now a new version is being released. It operates only with microdrive, has mail-merge capabilities, allows up to 128 characters per printed line, tabs, and automatic paging and numbering. No word yet on when it will land on these shores.
The SPECTRUM 128 has been officially announced in England and will be available from the English Micro Connection shortly. Our reviews in the December and January SUM were of the Spanish version, put the English version seems to be little different. More information available from EMC.
TAD PAINTER has re-released its SPEECH SYNTHESIZER software with new, clearer documentation. This software is very impressive in that it would allow words to be incorporated into games or business software–words spoken by the computer. We hope to have a review in March.
